Manali has many attractions but the chief center of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the DHOONGRI TEMPLE dedicated to goddess Hadimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has a four-tiered Pagoda-shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst the wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. Vashisht Hot Water Spring:
Vashisht is located at a distance of about 6 km away from the beautiful town of Manali in the Kullu district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
